Hazelnut macaroons may seem a little boring at first, but they belong on every good cookie plate! No wonder, because these little cookies taste moist, sweet and delicious thanks to ground hazelnuts. With our simple recipe, you can easily make healthy hazelnut macaroons!

Ingredients (1 portion):
125g ground hazelnuts
80g erythritol
15-20 whole hazelnuts
2 egg whites
fresh vanilla pod
¼ tsp cinnamon
1 pinch of salt
baking wafers
Preparation:

First preheat the oven to 150 °C top bottom heat

Then beat the egg whites with a hand mixer until stiff

Then fold the remaining ingredients except the whole hazelnuts into the beaten egg whites

Now spread the baking wafers on a baking tray lined with baking paper and spoon the mixture onto the wafers using two teaspoons

Then press a whole hazelnut onto each nut macaroon and place in the oven for approx. 20-25 mins.

Finally, leave the macaroons to cool completely and enjoy
