Vegetarian puff pastry Christmas trees

The trend of the vegetarian puff pastry Christmas trees is everywhere on social media! These Christmas trees made from puff pastry are really super easy and can be on your table in under 30 minutes. You can fill them however you like, we have filled them with raspberry jam and Skyr yogurt filled!

Ingredients (approx.12 trees):

2 rolls of puff pastry

raspberry jam

Skyr yoghurt

Egg yolk

crumble

Preparation:

  1. First roll out both sheets of pastry and spread one side with skyr and the other with raspberry jam
  2. Now place both puff pastry sheets on top of each other, cut off strips approx. 2 cm wide and cut out the rest of the dough with a star-shaped cutter
  3. Fold the puff pastry strips together in a curve and carefully place on the skewers and place the star on top
  4. Finally, place the Christmas trees on a baking tray lined with baking paper, brush with egg yolk and bake in the middle of the oven for approx. 15 minutes
