There is hardly a dish that is as strongly associated with Greek cuisine as tzatziki. In this recipe, we show you how to vegan tzatziki quickly and easily using soy yogurt, spicy garlic and fresh cucumber. The result is a creamy, light and refreshing yogurt sauce that goes perfectly with all kinds of dishes! You have a juice cleanse behind you and have used it to eat healthier? Great! Ingredients (4 portions):
500g plant-based yogurt
2-3 cloves of garlic
200g cucumber
2 tbsp olive oil
lemon
salt
Pepper
A little parsley
Preparation:
- First wash and finely grate the cucumber
- Now place the cucumber mixture on a kitchen towel and squeeze out the water; the best way to do this is to twist the towel
- Then peel and finely grate the garlic and add to the cucumber mixture
- Add the soy yoghurt, olive oil, lemon, salt and pepper and mix everything well
- Now you can serve the vegan tzatziki and top with a little parsley. Enjoy your meal!
