Tired of bread or muesli for breakfast? This breakfast pear with soy yogurt is the perfect alternative and guarantees a good start to the day. Ingredients (2 portions):

2 pears

½ tsp cinnamon

¼ tsp clove powder

¼ tsp vanilla powder

2 tbsp agave syrup

4 tbsp soy yogurt

4 tbsp pecan nuts

Preparation:

  1. Cut the pears in half (lengthwise).
  2. Remove the core with a spoon and place the pears cut side up in a small baking dish.
  3. Mix the agave syrup with the cinnamon and the clove and vanilla powder.
  4. Brush the spiced agave syrup over the pear halves.
  5. Place the pears in the oven at 180 °C for 20 minutes. The pears are cooked when the skin of the pear starts to blister.
  6. Take the pears out of the oven and leave them to cool until they are lukewarm. Fill the pear halves with soy yogurt and sprinkle with the nuts.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
