This delicious Berries Cumble is perfect as a healthy dessert or a snack between meals. With fruity berries and crunchy crumble, the recipe is suitable for anyone who doesn't want to give up sweets during their diet.

Ingredients (1 serving):

For the base:

250g frozen berries 

1 tsp cornflour

1 tbsp xylitol

For the crumble topping:

1/2 cup spelt flour

1/2 cup rolled oats

2 tablespoons xylitol

A pinch of salt

2 tsp cinnamon

2 tablespoons butter

Preparation:

  1. Put the frozen berries in a baking dish 

  2. Now mix the corn flour and xylitol and sprinkle over the berries

  3. Then place the spelt flour, rolled oats, xylitol, salt and cinnamon in a bowl and mix well

  4. Cut the butter into small pieces and work into the flour mixture with your hands until it becomes crumbly

  5. Now spread the crumble mixture evenly over the berries

  6. Bake the berry crumble in the oven at 180 °C for 25-30 minutes until the crumble is golden brown and crispy

  7. Then remove the berry crumble from the oven and leave to cool for a few minutes
