Frequently Asked Questions

Conventional juices on the market are usually pasteurized, causing them to lose their essential vitamins and flavor even before bottling. With cold-pressed juices, the pressing process uses a method in which the contents—that is, the juice—are not heated and are therefore never exposed to harmful heat, ensuring that many important vitamins and nutrients are preserved. Our juice is cold-bottled immediately after pressing and therefore never comes into contact with heat. In addition, our juices are preserved through an innovative high-pressure treatment in which the bottled juice is subjected to high water pressure without any heating whatsoever.

6,000 bar of water pressure is our secret! After we’ve filled our freshly squeezed juices into the rPET bottles, they are placed in a horizontal system where they are subjected to filtered cold water at a hydrostatic pressure of up to 6,000 bar. This pressure is applied evenly and continuously to the entire surface of the bottles. This high pressure inactivates the biological functions of microorganisms without the addition of any additives and without compromising the sensory properties of the food. Since the liquid is already contained within its bottle, contamination during the process is completely ruled out. This process extends the shelf life of our juices, allowing you to enjoy them for up to 8 weeks after the HPP process is complete. Here you’ll find more detailed information about our preservation method ➤ About the HPP process

Simply put, cold-pressed juice is fresh juice produced by simply pressing the fruit without applying heat. Unlike a centrifugal juicer, which shreds the fruit with rapidly rotating blades and then separates the juice from the pulp through the rotation, the cold-pressing process preserves all the important nutrients and vitamins. Due to high rotational speeds and friction, heat is generated during the juicing process when using a conventional centrifugal juicer. In the production of cold-pressed juice, the fruit is simply squeezed using pressure. No heat is generated during the pressing process, so the juice is gently extracted from the fruit.
