Deposits and Recycling

Germany:
You can return your 250-ml returnable bottles to your local supermarket. Simply take the 250-ml returnable bottles to a bottle return machine of your choice to return them to the recycling cycle. If a bottle isn’t accepted, the cashier will be happy to help you.

Austria:
A single-use deposit system has been in effect in Austria since 2025. You can return 250ml bottles subject to a deposit at all participating return locations and deposit machines.

Exception:
For our Skyr Protein Drinks, no deposit is currently charged for deliveries to Austria. The empty bottles therefore cannot be returned via the Austrian deposit system and should be disposed of through the appropriate plastic recycling collection.

Orders outside Germany and Austria:
No deposit fees are charged for orders outside Germany and Austria. The bottles can therefore be disposed of through local recycling systems.
