Immun Shots: Vitamin C and D from Real Juice
Immun⁴ Shots from LiveFresh are cold-pressed¹ juice shots containing 60 ml: Ingwer Sturm and Kurkuma Power each containing 100% NRV⁸ of vitamin C, and Sunshine Berry containing 400% NRV⁸ of vitamin D. Vitamin C and vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system⁴. The base is apple, orange, or berry juice, combined with ginger, turmeric, or lime.
The sample pack contains 24 shots in three varieties, eight of each. At one shot per day, that’s enough for a good three weeks.
Which vitamin shots are included in the package?
Ingwer Sturm and Kurkuma Power: The Vitamin C Shots
Both varieties provide 100% NRV of Vitamin C⁸ per shot. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the immune system⁴ and helps reduce tiredness and fatigue⁷. The difference lies in the flavor: Ingwer Sturm is tangy and tart with lime, Kurkuma Power is milder and fruity with orange. You can learn more about vitamin C in shot form in our article on vitamin C shots for your immune system.
Sunshine Berry: the Vitamin D Shot
Sunshine Berry provides 20 µg of vitamin D (400% NRV⁸) per shot, along with vitamin K. Vitamin D contributes to the normal function of the immune system⁴, and vitamins D and K help maintain normal bones⁶. You can find it individually as the Vitamin D Shot Sunshine Berry.
Clearly dosed: one shot, one main vitamin
Every Immun⁴ Shot features one main vitamin in a clearly stated amount. Ingwer Sturm and Kurkuma Power each provide 100% NRV⁸ of vitamin C. Sunshine Berry provides 20 µg of vitamin D. That’s 400% of the EU reference intake⁸ and corresponds to the DGE’s estimated value for an adequate intake in adults who do not produce their own vitamin D¹⁰. This keeps your routine simple: one shot a day, a clearly defined amount.
If you’re already taking other supplements containing vitamin D or vitamin C, it’s best to discuss the total amount with your doctor. You should not exceed the recommended daily intake of one shot.
Immune Shots vs. Ginger Shots: The Difference
In our Immun⁴ Shots, the immune-boosting benefits come from vitamin C and vitamin D⁴, not from the ginger. Ginger and turmeric add heat, color, and character; there is no approved health claim regarding the immune system for these ingredients.
- ✔ Immun⁴ Shots: for anyone who wants to specifically incorporate vitamins C and D into their routine
- ✔ Ginger Shots: for anyone looking primarily for the heat and flavor of ginger
You can find the full selection in our Ginger Shots section. We explain how turmeric is used as an ingredient in the shots in our article on the Turmeric Shot.
Juice shot, ampoule, or powder?
Drinkable vitamins come in three forms. Here’s an overview of the differences:
Ampoules and powders have a long shelf life and often combine many nutrients in a single serving. Immun⁴ Shots are the perfect option for anyone who prefers to drink their vitamins as juice.
Your Routine for Fall and Winter
From October through March, there’s barely enough sun in Germany to produce vitamin D⁹. Especially during these months, a daily morning shot fits perfectly into your routine. To learn why vitamins C and D are important during the dark season, read our article on vitamins C and D in fall and winter.
With the 24-pack, you can switch between flavors or stick with your favorite. All shots can be stored refrigerated for up to 4 weeks after arrival.
Want to try the whole range? The 16-shot sample pack also includes Glow Flow with zinc and biotin, as well as Ingwer Prise. And if you’re planning to make the shots a regular part of your routine over several days, you’ll find them in our shot regimens.
