Vegan wild garlic pesto

Ingredients (1 jar):

3 cups of peas (fresh or frozen)

1 cup fresh wild garlic

2 tbsp yeast flakes

½ cup nuts (e.g. cashew nuts)

Salt and pepper

3 tbsp olive oil

lime juice

Preparation:

  1. Put the peas in water and cook them. If you are using frozen peas, defrost them first. Then rinse them with cold water
  2. Place the peas in a bowl with the wild garlic, salt, pepper and yeast flakes. Then blend until you have a creamy pesto
  3. Now add the olive oil and some lime juice and mix everything together
  4. Now add the nuts to the pesto and chop them using a blender until they are chopped but still in chunky form 
  5. Serve the pesto with the pasta of your choice
